Either. Our vehicles carry transport wheelchairs, or we secure the patient's own chair (manual or powered) with certified restraint systems. Tell dispatch which you prefer when booking.

Who is wheelchair transport suitable for?

Patients who can sit safely but can't use a normal car: wheelchair users attending hospital or clinic appointments, elderly people with limited mobility, post-surgery patients, dialysis and physiotherapy patients, and airport travellers needing assisted transfers. Patients who must lie down need our stretcher ambulance instead — we'll advise which is right.

Can I book recurring wheelchair transport for regular appointments?

Yes — fixed weekly or monthly schedules for dialysis, physiotherapy, oncology and clinic visits, with the same crew wherever possible so the patient sees familiar faces.

Is there medical support on board?

Every journey includes a trained attendant; a licensed paramedic or nurse joins when the patient's condition requires monitoring, oxygen or medication en route. The vehicle carries first-response equipment as standard.

How much does wheelchair transport cost in the UAE?

Less than a stretcher ambulance — wheelchair vans are our most economical patient transport. Pricing depends on distance and any clinical add-ons; you get a fixed quote before booking and discounted rates for recurring schedules.

The rule of thumb: if the patient can sit upright safely for the whole journey, wheelchair transport is the comfortable, economical choice. If they must lie down — post-surgery, severe weakness, pressure-sore risk — they need our stretcher ambulance service instead. Not sure?
